Hello folks!
Thanks for checking in!
First and foremost, we’d like to thank you for being a part of our community and reading this newsletter. It means a lot to us. If you have ideas that you’d like to share about newsletters, hackathons, or job opportunities, please don’t hesitate to reach out to jesse@hackupstate.com. We’d love your input!
Looking Back on 2021
We know this past year has been hectic, so we want to thank our community for being understanding of the cancellations of our hackathon events due to COVID-19.
We’d also like to say thank you for everyone’s support of our second cohort of Careers in Code. It couldn’t have been possible without our partners, instructors, teaching assistants, and amazing community. We’re so grateful for your help in figuring out what a cohort looks like in a virtual environment.
We look forward to the opportunity to organize more cohorts in 2022!
Careers in Code is approaching!
We’re so excited to say that the preparations for Careers in Code are underway! We’ve been reviewing all the feedback we’ve received from our second cohort in pursuit of continuing to improve upon our program.

We’ll have more information soon on how to formally apply!

Women In Coding hosts a monthly meetup on the second Saturday of the month. Each month we’ll be teaching and group programming in a different language/topic. Usually no previous coding experience is necessary, although some familiarity with basic HTML and CSS can be helpful.
