As technology advances at a rapid pace, people are expected to keep up. More specifically, children are expected to learn and continue these efforts for further growth and sustainability. But instead of throwing expectations, let’s encourage our youth to learn the fundamentals of code.

“ I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think. ”
- Steve Jobs

Introducing: AT&T’s Youth Code Project

Children ranging from ages 8-to-16 are welcome to a FREE two hour workshop of writing code and building a website alongside a first-rate instructor from Syracuse University, Jeff Passetti. No coding experience necessary! Those who participate will walk out the door — after just two hours — with their own website and a foundation of HTML and CSS upon which to base their continuing education.

Thanks to AT&T and local community partners, children in CNY will be exposed to a new coding language, a new way of thinking, and an opportunity for significant growth. What better way than to empower the youth with technical knowledge! Sign up today!
