We’re excited to announce that we’re organizing our first hackathon in Rochester! Both students and practitioners will share ideas, form teams, build projects, and win prizes. Oh btw, it’s FREE!
WHO — The Upstate New York Technology Community.
THEME — Open hackathon. Build whatever you want using whatever tools you want.

RULES — No code can be written until after the opening ceremony on Saturday. All hackers abide by the Hack Upstate Code of Conduct. Please read it here.

SATURDAY, April 18, 2020
- 11am: Doors open
- 12pm: Idea pitching and team formation
- 12:30pm: Commence hacking
- 2pm: Lunch
- 7pm: Dinner
SUNDAY, April 19, 2020
- 9:00am: Breakfast and coffee
- 11:59am: Cease hacking
- 12pm: Demo intro / welcome judges
- 12:30pm: Demos, pitches, and presentations
- 1:30pm: Awards

PROJECT SUBMISSIONS — We will be using Devpost for project submissions and judging.
SLACK — Chat with hackers before, during, and after the event. Join now!
FOOD — We’ll be feeding you lunch & dinner on Saturday, and a light breakfast on Sunday.
PARKING — You can park in the Genesee Crossroads garage, attached directly to First Federal, off of Corinthian St.
